I'm too lazy to do one of those thorough blog-recaps of the trip to Israel (has it really been only a week since I got back to America?), but I did post the best pics on Flickr. No brilliant commentary, I'm afraid, but with images like these, who needs text:

One of the highlights of the trip was discovering the ass-rocking glory of Monotonix, who just so happen to be kicking off their first ever American tour tonight! If you're in NYC, I order you to check them out at Piano's. They set up in the middle of the floor--not on stage--and have a stand-up drummer (Ran), a staggeringly awesome guitarist (Yonatan), and an electrifying singer (Ami). They blew everyone away at the sound check before the second Joos show in Tel Aviv. Plus, they're nice and cool. Visit their MySpace page to find out when they're playing in your town so you can experience the experience and then let them crash on your couch:
