Painted with brother-in-law today. Didn't realize Maryland had moved next door to the sun. Quite hot. Though I hear it's quite hot everywhere. Summer does that to places.

Back in the land of Slurpees. The only true love I have in my life (cue sad strings).

Two new musical recommendations worth your while--and soft-earned ducats. I am fortunate enough to know members of each band, all of whom are fine young(ish) gentlemen. But even if I didn't have a personal connection to the following rock outfits, I would most certainly still recommend them to friends, strangers, and even enemies. Seriously. I'm not lying. I would. Really. Listen for yourself and you'll see what I mean. Seriously. You will. See what I mean, that is. I mean hear what I mean. I mean, just buy the fucking CDs already!

The Oranges Band -- "The World and Everything in It" (www.theorangesband.com, www.lookoutrecords.com)

and

Pyramid -- "The First American" (www.cdbaby.com/cd/pyramidmusic, www.sidewalkexplosion.com)

That is all for today...

(Also, Randy's hitting his stride at www.joonr.com. Check-a-check it out.)

(Also-Also, if anyone cares I apologize for not being able to link the web addresses for easy click access. I think it's a Mac thang, but I'm not sure. Either way, sorry, but I can't seem to figure out how to pull that off. I'm a genius filmmaker, not a goddamn computer wizard!)
