I just wrote a semi-hearty update that didn't post, but now it's time for dinner. Didn't want to leave you kids hanging. Aren't I sweet.
Today was Twisted British Cinema Day, with THE LIVING AND THE DEAD and THE ECSTASTY OF ROBERT CARMICHAEL. Really great moments, but ultimately they wore me down I think.
Hi Lars. Can't wait to see OLD JOY tomorrow.
Reunited with the one-and-only Wendy Mitchell, which has already been wonderful. We'll see if tonight turns into the glory days or if we're actually too old and tired to get this party started like we used to do. Stay tuned for that.
I would bet all of my earnings for the next two decades that Rotterdam has the loveliest guest office workers of any festival in the world. No question about it.
Oh yeah, I apologize for the photo in today's Daily Tiger. It was funny at the time. Now it just looks arrogant and slap-worthy. Just know that it was sugar and we don't advocate that type of behavior. Or something like that. Ta-ta...
