Pre-"Fahrenheit 9/11"

I'm finally going to see "Fahrenheit 9/11" this evening, but before I do I'd just like to congratulate Michael Moore on making history for opening a documentary at number one. I have a hunch I'm gonna agree with Wendywire and wish he didn't make as many personal digs at Bush and his mates (how easy is that?), but I'm sure I'll be able to excuse those moments for the greater cause.

Okay, I'm doing what I swore I'd never do with this blog--give my useless opinion. Perhaps I'll have something of actual relevance to contribute after I watch the thing. Perhaps not.

Celebrated my 30th birthday yesterday by driving nine hours from Maryland to Charleston with my sister, then eating some leftover crabs from our feast on Sunday, and closed out the oh-so-special day by watching "Gerry" once again. Had one symbolic beer, but that's it. What a nerd I am. But in all seriousness, is "Gerry" fucking brilliant or what?
