It's over.

We're done.

Our last day (yesterday) was spent at the beach, shooting super-8 for our beginning/end flashbacks. It was too beautiful to be true. I baptised myself in the ocean when the last frame had been captured, and I am finally breathing a sigh of contented relief.

Then I proceeded to get moronically shitsmashed.

I think I was embarrassing, but I don't care.

It's over.

I'm leaving in about fourteen minutes to visit my lovely sister Colleen in Charleston. Wings at the Kickin Chicken, maybe some beers at The Village Tavern, and the realization that I no longer have to babysit ANYONE.

For those of you who have made a feature film--large or small--you know how I feel right now. It's like a waking dream. We conquered this unclimbable mountain.

Thankfully I'm heading north with a carload of footage that I'm excited about. Perhaps I'm being delusional, but I'll take that at this point. I'm excited for you guys (friends, strangers, fuck it, even critics) to see it!!!

This film is going to KICK FUCKING ASS, GODDAMN IT.

Goodnight to all of it....
