In cinematic news, please get your cold bottoms over to Anthology Film Archives at 7:30pm tonight for the December installment of "Flaherty NYC," the monthly screening series that includes work from the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar. Tonight brings a one-two punch of Lee Wang's God is My Safest Bunker and Laura Waddington's Cargo. Should be good.
Then, after that, be sure to attend one of the sadder Monday nights in the history of modern New York City. It makes me tear up to even type it, but tonight is the last night of Kuntry Karaoke at Hank's Saloon (3rd Ave. and Atlantic). The times were sloppy. The times were fun. But apparently, the times are done. Don't miss this final hoedown.
