I'm way too frazzled right now to do justice to the past few days. Yesterday was kind of amazing. The Pipettes at Emo's at 12:45, who were sufficiently entertaining (yes, I want to marry Rose). Then I realized that Beach House was playing at 2 in the inside room just a few steps away (not great sound, but great nonetheless). The rest of the day was great too, but nothing compared to the midnight performance of Bosque Brown on the eighteenth floor of our hotel. I don't know if I've ever seen a show that led to almost every single person in the audience buying a CD directly after the set. Make more music, Mara Lee Miller!
Today brings Maryland/Butler, Texas A&M/Lousville, and a whole lot of other bball goodness during the day, followed by Bill Callahan, Fionn Regan, Midlake, and Frog Eyes when the sun goes down.
I'm going to sign up for tomorrow's softball game now. This is too much fuckin' fun...
