I'm with you, Tom. Buddy's music legacy is strong as ever.
I've had the pleasure of attending an annual tribute show at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa (site of Buddy's last show with Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper), for the past few years. It's a wonderful place and well worth a stop if you're in the state. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just gave it designated landmark status this year.

The day the music died. A bit dramatic, but jeepers, BH penned some pretty serious classics. RIP, BH.
