From the latest leg of my trip in Los Angeles... Unlike most of my fellow New Yorkers, I'm actually a fan of the City of Angels... If taken on it's own terms, much like New York, it's a wonderful place.

We had a nice time and shot some interesting people. Now on to my hometown of San Francisco...

Watching the surfers do their thing on the North Shore... Waves were 6-8 ft. high that day. Insane.

This apartment is on Hollywood Road and is the apartment that Chung King Express was shot in and the young actress actually lived there in at the time.

The umbrella salesman had a certificate that said he had won the Guiness World Record for the most expensive umbrella. It was from the 70's.

Peel Street, which looked to be one of the coolest areas. It is a perfect mix of old and hip. Kind of like Williamsbug, but hilly and more chic.
