3 of 25 Films Inducted into National Film Registry Directed by Women

The Librarian of Congress, James Billington, picked the next batch of 25 films to be inducted into the National Film Registry. 3 of the 25 films chosen by Billington are directed by women. There are several women centric films including Breakfast at Tiffany’s and One Survivor Remembers.

A League of Their Own – Directed by Penny Marshall

The Matrix – Co-Directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski

Samsara: Death and Rebirth in Cambodia – Directed by Ellen Bruno
