Amy Adams: A Lois Lane We Deserve

Reviews for the new re-imagining of Superman--Man of Steel--hit the internet earlier in the week. So far many are saying it's a new version that is certainly worth checking out.

Reviews for the new re-imagining of Superman--Man of Steel--hit the internet earlier in the week. So far many are saying it's a new version that is certainly worth checking out.

But it is another male superhero movie in a summer full of male super hero movies, and to be honest we are already fatigued and summer has not even technically started.  We always look for a silver lining in these types of movies, characters that we can relate to in some way and it looks like Amy Adams as Lois Lane has the potential to not just be eye candy, but a substantive female character.  

Over at Hitfix, Adams talks about how Lois in this new adaptation is portrayed her as a smart, strong woman that "that you'd know today."   It looks like Man of Steel will give us a Lois Lane that lives up to our expectations. It hits theaters on Friday.
