In case you missed it, Angelina was on 60 Minutes last night gearing up for the premiere of her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey.
Some interesting points: she feels more comfortable behind the camera and likes the spotlight being on others; her favorite movie that she was in is A Mighty Heart; she is writing and directing another film about war, this time the war in Afghanistan.
It was strange that the interviewer Bob Simon described her as being known as being "wild, weird and eccentric." That might have been true a decade ago, but not anymore.
Thanks, Ann for the great interview with the very talented Kim Krizan. Her book is a provocative,
Wow, what's with this really poorly written, dumbed down, college post? "ain't going

Up until the early 2000s Robert Downey Jr was coked up, in & out of jail and rehab, and was found passed out in the bed of a neighbor's child but you wouldn't know that by how the media treats him. He's not continually referred to as wild, weird and eccentric. I call this the Penis Pass. Have a penis? You are allowed to grow, make different and better choices, and move on without one's past being continually brought up. Lack a penis? And you're fucked.
I saw last night's interview and Angelina seems to be an intelligent, thoughtful and a bold risk-taker. She gets it. IT being the importance of sometimes doing the thing that is scary. The thing that might cause you to fall flat on your face or to soar high but in the end the outcome will make you grow as a person.
