The film will be released on December 19. I am wondering if it will go the route of The Hurt Locker with a platform release or will have have a wide release. I am thinking that it will be a wide release building on Bigelow's Oscar win, the interest in Bin Laden and the fact that it is being distributed by a big studio - Columbia. It will also be released by Universal overseas.
The question is will Bigelow be nominated for another Oscar for best director? Could happen. She is automatically in the converstion having won the Oscar for her last film.
Folks- this one is going to be big. I am getting excited already.
