Holland Taylor, who TV audiences will know well from Two and a Half Men, is taking on a new role--Ann Richards, the legendary governor of Texas. Taylor will star as Richards in Ann, which she also wrote.

Richards was the the second female governor of Texas from 1991-1995 and was a champion for women, minorities.  In politics she will best be remembered for her keynote address at the 1988 Democratic convention where she said the now infamous line: "Poor George, he can't help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth."  She became a star that moment.

Ann opens on Broadway on March 7. Check out an interview with Taylor below about the play. Get more info and tickets here.
