Here’s a look at the newly released poster for the new film from Joan Carr-Wiggin, If I Were You, starring Marcia Gay Harden.

The film follows Madelyn (Gay Harden) who saves a young woman (Leonor Watling) from a suicide attempt only to learn that this woman is her husband’s mistress. Unaware that this is his wife, the young woman, Lucy, suggests that the two become friends and take each other’s advice.  Madelyn sees an opportunity to get revenge, however the plan becomes complicated when Lucy gives Madelyn advice on dealing with a co-worker and an attractive stranger (Aidan Quinn).  Carr-Wiggin is the writer director of A Previous Engagement starring Juliet Stevenson which was released in 2008.  Women and Hollywood spoke with her when the movie was released.  Read the interview here.

The film is currently available on all VOD platforms, and will have a limited theatrical release on March 15.
