Jane Fonda to Receive 2011 Sherry Lansing Leadership Award

Jane Fonda will receive the 2011 Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at the annual Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment breakfast on December 7. The breakfast coincides with the publication of the annual Women in Power list.

This is the 20th year of Women in Entertainment and the Award "recognizes a woman who is a pioneer and leader in her respective industry."

Fonda has not only had a stellar career in Hollywood but she has been a leader and activist on women's issues founding organizations like GCAP to prevent teenage pregnancy in Georgia and the Women's Media Center.
