Octavia Spencer's Golden Globe Speech

I was co-hosting (they did all the work) a Golden Globe watching party last night with the National Domestic Worker's Alliance  and when Octavia won the place went nuts.   And then when she mentioned domestic workers -- many of whom were in attendance at the event -- the place went nuts again. 

Here's what she said

...with regard to domestics in this country now and then, I think Dr. King said it best - all labor that uplifts humanity has diginity and importance. And I thank you for recognizing that with our film.
