Showtime has greenlit a documentary about comedian, Tig Notaro. The doc, Knock Knock, It's Tig Notaro, will follow Notaro as she tours the country. The twist is that her performances will be hosted at the homes, barns, backyards of devoted fans. And we can certainly expect some of Notaro's funny friends to make special appearances.

Notaro will also executive produce the documentary.

It's been almost a year since Notaro performed her now legendary set about her breast cancer diagnosis after her mother passed away and her girlfriend broke up with her. It is truly one of the best stand up sets we've ever heard.

Notaro is looking for fans who want to be in the documentary or  host shows--so check out the video below or visit the site for more information.

The public will red light it before it airs. Poor Showtime, they have a real stinker on their hands. Isn't she supposed to be having cancer treatments?
