The Hollywood Reporter Announced the Top 50 Showrunners

The Hollywood Reporter has announced their 50 power showrunners of 2013 for comedy and drama. 12 women out of 50 were on the list. And four women of 10 were on the 2014 Showrunners to Watch list.

The Hollywood Reporter has announced their 50 power showrunners of 2013 for comedy and drama. 12 women out of 50 were on the list. And four women out of 10 were on the 2014 Showrunners to Watch list.

In 2012, 14 women were on the list of 50 while the Showrunners to Watch list stayed about the same.

Ann Biderman -- Ray Donovan (Showtime)

Oliver Goldstick and Marlene King -- Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family)

Salim and Mara Brock Akil -- The Game (BET)

Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner -- Girls (HBO)

Mindy Kaling and Jack Burditt -- The Mindy Project (Fox)

Jenji Kohan -- Orange Is the New Black (Netflix)

Liz Meriwether, Brett Baer and David Finkel -- New Girl (Fox)
