This is the second Diane Keaton project that has not made it to series at HBO. First was the Marti Noxon pilot script where she was to play a "Gloria Steinem" like magazine editor who starts a pron magazine, and now Tilda created by Cynthia Mort and Bill Condon where she played a Hollywood blogger ala Nikki Finke is not going to series.
The pilot was completed a while ago and Mort had departed the project and with contracts with the cast including Ellen Page and Jason Patric set to expire HBO just threw in the towel. They released the following statement: "HBO has decided not to move forward with Tilda. Despite everyone's best efforts ultimately this was not the right show for us at this time."
Somebody please give Diana Keaton a show worthy of her talents.

Seriously! Keaton and her timeless effervescence are wasted on bad projects. I heard that she Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler were recently discussing a new project together. First Wives Club 2? I know that I'd see it but I don't know if I want it.
