This is what came into my email last week.

While I have nothing against Affleck, and his film The Town made money, it just made me think, where's Lisa Cholodenko's next gig? I know that Debra Granik's working on Pippi Longstockings, but I haven't heard word one about a new project for Cholodenko.
So if Ben Affleck can have his next film almost signed and his film isn't nominated for best picture, I just wonder why someone hasn't given Cholodenko money to develop her next script.
