Neither. The second looks like sexist crap. The first looks like an unnecessary US remake of a British classic. I'd rather watch the Mirren version again.

Silly me, I didn't realize that Prime Suspect was a re-do of the Hellen Mirren series. I've actually always wanted to see an American take on this so will definitely give it a chance.

I'd be excited about Prime Suspect if ti didn't look like yet another "tough but gorgeous blonde cop" series. I mean, I'm glad In Plain Sight has inspired these series, but they just feel derivative. (Chase - which even has the same backstory for the lead, Covert Affairs, the Protector... none have been as good as In Plain Sight.)

I'm pretty sure (though I could be wrong) that this was more of a "think about it." I like it. Maria Bello plays this really balanced female lead and is to be thoroughly admired. Let's see how "The Playboy Club" stacks up, shall we? ((http://pazfilmsproject.tumblr.com/))

Both. Not a cop show person at all, but I like most of what I've seen of Maria Bello, and I've gotten to the point where I always root for a remake to be good just because so many people are automatically against them.

Both of them! Until I actually see them, I can't choose. Who knows -- I may choose neither.
