We have another contender to add into the post-Twilight YA film adaptation pool. This time it's Cassandra Clare's insanely popular The Mortal Instruments series. Adapted by Pretty Little Liars showrunner, I. Marlene King, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones follows Clary Fray (Lily Collins), a seemingly normal teenage girl until her mother (Lena Headey) is captured by a demon and Clary begins to find out that she's not as normal (she's actually a half-angel demon warrior) as she thought.
