Kathryn Bigelow and Zero Dark Thirty continue to build momentum and Emmanuelle Riva won best actress for Amour from all three organizations. However, the Los Angeles Film Critics was a bit of a wild card naming Bigelow runner up for best director (that went to Paul Thomas Anderson for The Master) and announced a tie for best actress between Riva and Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook.
